We at the San Andreas Communications Department are committed to safeguarding the lives and property of all citizens and visitors within our diverse community. Calls in need of dispatch are answered and dispatched quickly, accurately, and skillfully by our dispatchers. As we provide these services, we strive for excellence and treat people with dignity, respect, and empathy. Our role is to connect citizens with public safety when they need assistance. Teamwork, training, and public feedback help us continuously improve. As our community changes, we will utilize technology and experience to meet the needs of all who pass through it.

SUBDIVISION INFORMATION

SIT ALONG PROGRAM
The Sit Along Program is an extended, hands on training program made for new, cadet operators. This program helps operators with all functions of the job, such as CAD operations, Radio operations and even 911 calls, taking a three step method on how to effectively and accurately relay information to emergency services. Our SAP members members strive to contribute a professional and prompt training for all our cadets. This program truly shows a typical day on the job.
